Population: 28 Millions

People: 40 Ethnic groups & 70 Spoken languages

Religion: Hindu 80.6%, Buddhist 10.7%, Muslim 4.2%, Kirant 3.6%, other 0.4% , Christian less than 1% including RC and other non-evangelical groups (2001 census).
