PRAY 4 NEW MINISTRY IN NEPAL

Dear Prayer Partners!

Exited news from Nepal

Thank you very much for praying for the ministry of Nepal.

I'm very much happy to inform you that what the Lord is doing in Nepal. God has already started His work in Nepal. I came back to Nepal with church planting vision through wholistic approach ministry, after completing my study from Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary (PBTS) in Philippine. Despite many difficulties and changeless, I have been continually involving in Church planting and Mobile Bible Training ministry in Nepal. Praise God that for the first time in Nepal's Church History, we have established 5 Southern Baptist Churches (SBC) in East past of Nepal, and another new Church (SBC)is going to begin soon in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. We are looking for a room for Church fellowship in Kathmandu. These new 5 Churches (SBC), are my former mother and daughter churches, they were independent churches and now they have decided to came together as a SBC ministry. We are going to mobilize these churches for another church planting mission plans in many parts of Nepal in days to come. We are praying to begin Church Planting and Leadership Training Ministry from 2010. We are doing these ministries by faith in the Lord. We are also praying to start soon Orphanage home for abandon Children and we have already two abandon Child looking for help.

We kindly request you to continue pray for new church planting ministry through wholistic ministry in Nepal.

These two children are brothers and abandoned by their parent, mother is mental disorder. She cannot take care of her children and they are born by rape. My mother is taking care of them in my house. Dear Prayer Partners

Thank you very much for praying for me and for the ministry of Nepal. God has been using me for his work in Nepal since I went back to Nepal. When I was at Seminary (PBTS), I was thinking to take rest for at least three months in Nepal. But God did not allow me to take rest. As soon as I reached to Nepal, I had to rust for ministry, I did not have time to take test and still now, I haven’t make any settlement adjustment yet.

Ministry in Kathmandu:

After my graduation on 13 March , 2009, I flew back to Nepal on 29 of March and reached to Nepal on 30 March-09. After three days rest, I helped to Asian Theological Consultancy Program in interpreting and conducting the program, held from April 5-10, in Kathmandu, Nepal. Program was very blessing and channeling for Nepali context.

Mobile Bible Training in Parncher (mountain) and Jhapa District.:

Some of the churches in Mountain areas and Jhapa Districts had already arranged Mobile Bible Training , before I reached to Nepal, as soon as I finished Consultancy Program in Kathamdu, I had to began my three weeks long journey for Mobile Bible Training.

Mobile Training at Lungrupa Church in Pancher:

I traveled 11 hours long bus riding journey and two days walking (hiking) through the thick jungle, high and steep mountain. I began my journey for ministry from April 10, riding bus and after 11 hours traveling I got off by the bus and started walking alone through the thick mountain and jungle for one day. After one day walking alone, next day (April 12) I joined with my team members and together again we went to Lungrupa Church, Pancher District for Mobile Bible Training. I and some of my team members did not have experience of mountain walking (hiking), we walked continue two days through rocky, narrow, very high and difficulty ways. Some of my team members got sick on the way and some of them even cried out because of difficulties. We faced not only tired but also hunger, thirsty and sickness because of continue walking on mountain without food and water. But praise God finally we could conducted Mobile training successfully. God was with us through out our ministry to help in the time of difficulties.

5 days Mobile Training was conducted at Lungrupa Church. Over 122 people participated in the training. We also had house to house evangelism program, and 20 houses had an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some of the sick people were healed through our prayer ministry. A Christian doctor was also participated with us, and we gave them free treatment and medicine to sick people.

I was the main person to take almost whole classes of Mobile Training. I taught from Pastoral Counseling, Family Counseling, Leadership Role in the Church, Role of the Women in the Church, Baptism, Lord Supper and Methods of Learning the Bible. Some of my friends also helped me to take some of the classes.

Jhapa Mobile Training:

After 5 days training at Lungrupa Church Parncher, mountain province, we went down to Mount Sinai Church, at Jhapa, to have 3 days (April 23-25) training. And the training was successful; almost 25 pastors and lay leaders participated and were blessed. Pastors and leaders came from difference churches from surrounding places on 4 -5 hours on walking for the meeting. They are very much hungry for proper biblical education, especially for the pastoral leadership. They have also still demanded to have another Mobile Training.

God is using me for the ministry of Nepal.

This year (2009), we are praying to plant at least three churches in east past of Nepal.. Mobile Bible Training and church planting ministry will be continuing in days to come. I’m also planning preparing materials for Leadership Training in future, once my office is set up. I need your prayer support.

Pray For Nepal

Dear prayer partner!

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I appreciate your prayers and all your contribution in my life, and study –Thank You so much!

I thank God for He has brought me here in Philippines with specific purpose and calling. I praise God for His faithfulness. He always walks along with me through all of the difficult and joyful mom. I always appreciate your prayer concern and encouragement that help me a lot during my study. By His grace and your prayer, now I have completed my two years of study in PBTS seminary. Now, we are having three months long vacation from March 10-June 10, 2008. During this vacation, I will be attending Haggai Institute Seminar, which will be held from April 18-May 18 2008 at Maui, Hawaii. I hope I will be benefited from this leadership seminar.

Dear prayer partners, still I have one year more to finish my Mdiv program. If God willing, I’m hoping to graduate by March 2009. But, still I need to depend on God’s will because Still I am in need of scholarship for 2008/March 2009. But I believed that God will supply all my needs according to His promised in Phillip 4:19.

I am happy to inform you that “Nepal Harvest Network Ministry” (NHNM) has already started church planting ministry, since June 2007, in Nepal. Newly, two churches in Birtamode and Rajghat town have been established with around 56 church members. Mr. Kapil Mani Misra and Vijay Chamling are voluntarily involving in church planting activities. They have not received any Bible training or seminar training yet; even though God is using them for His ministry. God is already staring doing His work in Nepal, beyond our expectation, through NHNM. Our previous three old churches (Goldhap Church, Jalthal Church, Panthar Church) also recently have come under the NHNM. Including these three old churches, altogether now, there are five churches under our responsibility and care. As the church grows, needs also grow along with the church. NHNM alone cannot accomplish its vision without your prayer support and encouragement.

NHNM is praying for ministry partners from around the world that have vision for Nepal. Let us joint our hands and mind together for Lord’s work in Nepal. Now, God has given us right time to reach out to the millions of actinic and tribal unreach people with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in Nepal. NHNM has a strong commitment and clear vision to win the Nepal for Christ through its wholistic ministry.
